This policy explains what personal data HOO (hoo.az) collects when you browse the store, create an account, design a product or place an order, why we collect it and what choices you have.
Data we collect
We only collect what we need to run the store and fulfil your orders:
- Account details: name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password.
- Sign-in with Google or Apple: your account identifier, name and email address as shared by the provider. We never receive your Google or Apple password.
- Orders: delivery addresses, the items you buy, order history and gift messages.
- Designs: text, images and artwork you upload in the design studio, and the previews generated from them.
- Usage data: pages and products viewed, linked to a random visitor identifier, to understand which products are popular.
How we use your data
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To process, produce, print and deliver your orders, and to contact you about them.
- To send service emails such as order confirmations and password resets.
- To improve the store and prevent fraud and abuse.
Payments
Card payments are processed by our payment provider EPoint. Your card details are entered on the provider's secure page and are never stored on our servers.
Cookies
We use only cookies that are necessary for the store to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a security (CSRF) cookie, a guest cookie that keeps your bag and designs before you sign in, and a cookie that remembers your language. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the store, and only as needed for their service:
- Hetzner (Germany): servers and file storage.
- Cloudflare: domain name and email routing.
- Resend: delivery of service emails.
- EPoint: card payments.
- Google and Apple: sign-in, if you choose to use it.
- Courier partners: your name, phone and address for delivery.
How long we keep data
We keep account data while your account is active. Order records are kept as long as required by tax and accounting law. Uploaded designs are kept so you can reorder them; you can delete drafts at any time.
Your rights
You can view and update your details in your account. You may ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and personal data by writing to info@hoo.az. We will reply within 30 days.
Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it.
